Name: Bill Cottam
Date of Birth: 3rd March 1963
Occupation: Purveyor of highly attractive and nutritious piscatorial delicacies
Marital Status: Incredibly, I have managed to remain married to Judi since 1990
Interests Outside Angling: We have a house full of Great Danes, so that takes up quite a bit of my time. I also enjoy photography, watching football and drinking copious amounts of alcohol. I have also been known to have a bet on occasions!
Football Team: I have followed the mighty Sheffield Wednesday through thin and thinner.
Favourite Music: Bruce Springsteen, Dylan, early Oasis stuff and Hootie and the Blowfish
Favourite Food: French, Seafood or Indian...as long as it's not too hot!
Most Memorable Angling Achievement: Catching the Scarred Fish from The Graviers at 82lb and continuing to love it as much today as I ever have, even though I have it all day, every day!
Favourite Nutrabaits Products: I love 'em all...I couldn't pay the mortgage without them!
Why do you choose Nutrabaits: Because I would look a bit stupid using Nashbait
Favourite Rig: A long one with a very sharp hook on the end
Angling Influences: Rod Hutchinson, Kevin Maddocks, George Sharman and most of all, Richie McDonald..he was the man! I am also enormously indebted to Tim Paisley; he made me believe that I could make a living from selling bait.
If you could have fished at any time past or present on any venue, where and when would you have fished? I would have loved to have fished Cassien in the early years or Savay around the time the first syndicate was formed.
