Solubles

Creating a Carp Fishing Edge

Way back in the 1990’s we launched our highly popular at the time Solubals, these proved a big success, but with the advancement of time and almost 3 years of development we have been able to take this concept to a whole new level in both quality and attraction.

So what’s so different about our new soluble ranges I hear you asking ?

Quite simply giving food signals the same as the matching bait ranges, using the same ingredients as each of the boilie ranges along with elevated levels of soluble attraction that release into the water column as the baits breakdown. Thus leaving a bed of oozing attraction that plumes up when disturbed by feeding fish, creating a feeding frenzy time and time again.

Understanding the concept and how to get the most out of solubles is essential.

With a breakdown time of 2hr to 6hrs based on water temperatures, the warmer the water the faster the breakdown. So applying this to your angling situation is essential. Solubles have not been designed as a campaign style sit and wait baiting strategy, if you’re the type of angler that turns up at a lake, baits up on arrival and sits for 48hrs plus awaiting action to arrive then these are possibly not for you.

The whole idea of this range is to apply Solubles regularly to your baited areas, monitor the breakdown by dropping one in the margin each time you bait up. Then keep an eye on this, when broken down to a pea size it’s time to put the effort in and bait the spots with another 20 to 30 baits. Thus giving baits in various stages of breakdown for the ultimate attraction. It may seem excessive baiting up every 2hr to 3hrs but the effort will pay dividends. As you build your swim, which in turn will attract more feeding fish which will create a feeding frenzy and disturbance which will draw carp onto your baited spots.

If you are wanting to slow the breakdown especially before retiring to your sleeping bag for the night then simply coat your last feed of the day with either Salmon oil, Hemp oil or one of our liquid boosters. This will extend the breakdown by approximately 50%.

If you’re the type of angler doing longer sessions then applying alongside your matching boilies, but feed the solubles on a regular basis to give andded attraction.

Short session angling we would suggest going mostly with the soluble approach with only a few boilies to keep carp searching.

Applying them couldn’t be easier, use either throwing stick, catapult, spod or ideal for the angler that uses a bait boat. Also big edge to hook a mesh bag on that will disguise your hook bait once broken down.

Let us know how you use them in your angling and we look forward to seeing your success stories over the coming months.
