Why do anglers make their own bait out of our base mixes and ingredients when our off the shelf baits are so effective?
The simple reason, being different from the crowds, creating your personal edge that no one else will know other than you, lastly the pleasure it brings catching on a bait home rolled can’t be described.

So where do you start when considering home rolling? We’ve tried to make it easy for you in our base mix section by listing tried and highly successful recipes under each base mix. Simply go to our website, click on our home rolling section, then again click on base mixes. Then simply click on the base mix where you will find the full breakdown on ingredients used in the base mix, scroll down the below and you will find suggested recipes. Some you may recognise, some you may think "Will that work?" and others that may put your brain in to overdrive as something different you hadn’t considered, all have been mega successful over the years.

So once you’ve chosen your base mix and flavour package which is usually the starting point for most, it’s then time to choose a liquid food or combination of liquid foods. Why liquid foods ? The simple reason being the natural attraction liquid foods add to any bait is essential, each elevating the amino profile and nutritional value of any finished bait.
Last but not least is our additives, one or more of our pure additives can be added. Being pure you can add as little or much as you like but start with our suggested. Additives have been a must have for many anglers for well over 30 years, Green Lipped Mussel Extract, Liver Powder and Betaine HCI making any finished bait even more attractive. Soluble natural attraction any fish find hard to resist.
Next up is the hard part of rolling the baits, my advice would be not to start until you are fully prepared. Too many pack in after the first attempt but stick with it as gets easier every time.
