Few bait ingredients have earned the legendary status of N-Butyric Acid. It may be one of the most anti-social aromas you'll ever encounter, but its ability to attract carp has made it a staple in the tackle bags of countless successful anglers.
Naturally occurring in rancid butter and produced through the process of hydrolysis, N-Butyric Acid is a completely natural organic acid with an unmistakable pungent aroma, a sharp acidic taste and a surprisingly sweet after taste. While its smell is certainly not for the faint-hearted, carp simply love it.
Use it on its own at up to 2ml per 500g of base mix, or at around 1ml per 500g alongside your favourite flavour or essential oil to create a unique and highly effective attractor package.
Many top anglers include N-Butyric Acid in virtually every bait they make, but when paired with Nature Identical Pineapple Flavour, it forms one of the most iconic and consistently successful carp-catching combinations ever produced.
