The breakdown process begins within 15 minutes of entering the water and fully dissolves within 2–6 hours, depending on water temperature. During this time, the baits release soluble food signals throughout the water column, creating a powerful feeding response.
Once fully broken down, they leave behind a nutritious bed of attraction that clouds up when disturbed by feeding carp, creating the ultimate feeding zone and encouraging confident feeding.
