The breakdown process begins within 15 minutes of entering the water and fully dissolves within 2–6 hours, depending on water temperature. During this time, the baits release soluble food signals throughout the water column, creating maximum attraction.
Once disturbed by feeding carp, the remaining attraction clouds up from the lake bed, helping draw more fish onto your baited area and encouraging continued feeding activity.
